Jason Pistorino is a graduate of Long Island University holding a Masters in Interactive Media Arts. Currently he satisfies his love for teaching and helping aspiring minds at LIU as Associate Director for the Center for Student Information. He is Founder and Creative Director of Dominating Designs, his brainchild. After years of experience, he remains dedicated to continued professional development, i.e. long hours in front of the computer synthesizing all new advancements and information relevant to web design. With the growing success of his company, expansion has led him to the acquisition of new and invaluable talent in the form of specialized developers, designers and photographers.

Digital Photography is a hobby I truly love. I enjoy the challenge of telling a story within one still image or a selection of frames. The art of Photography is a never-ending adventure of learning. From new shooting techniques to new technologies, you're never finished growing. Where Graphic Design is my true passion, Photography is a close second and hopefully someday I can call myself a "Professional Photographer" as well.
Upon reaching 16 years old, I began working at a gym. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. Learning how to maintain physical health at such a young age helped me acquire disipline. I learned to create goals and organize a plan to reach them; then sticking with the plan and never giving up. These are skills that help me with my creative goals today. Building a website does not happen over night, it takes a lot of planning and small steps to reach the end goal. I am a strong believer that staying fit is not only healthy for your body, it enhances your mental well-being. Whether it be self-esteem, stress management, or reaching small term goals. Not to mention, I am too passionate about the culinary arts not to exercise!
I have been playing Baseball since I was 5 years old. I dreamed of becoming a major leaguer someday. Just like working out, baseball helped me shape and define who I am now. Learning how to work in a team-oriented environment and studying the game, strengthened necessary qualities that help me with design and web development.
